Task of this department is to carry out long-term strategic research, to build up expertise in important areas of socio-economic. This department carries out research service to clients, both public (government) sector, national & international development organizations, international bodies, and private enterprise or business sector. This department involved in national and international government sponsored research programs, emphasis in placed, too, on collaboration with other research institution and universities.

Current research activities concentrate in the areas of : trade, business, industry, investment and project, socio-economic study, research and evaluation, MFI, CD, etc. Research group of national [and international] standing have been built up in all these areas. Its department overall goal is to produce study, research, survey and/or evaluation, synthese and analyze result that are both practical and economical importance.

Our approach is to address each problem, immediate need, and to solve them through the use of the best methods appropriate. The department backed up by at least 7 professionals, 8 qualified personnel, which mostly have doctorates, several of which have part-time engagements as University Professors and lecturers.
